Edgewater Storage

Site Plan Review

Salem, Oregon 2022


BRAND assisted our Client with presenting a consolidated application, including a Class 3 Site Plan Review, Class 1 Design Review, two Class 2 Adjustments, and a Class 2 Driveway Approach Permit. The project was an adaptive reuse of an existing development site and applications were consistent with the City's Capital Improvement Project along 2nd Street NW. Historically, the building was used for processing, a cannery, miscellaneous storage, and office uses. Upon completion of the project, the site is now utilized, in part, as a self storage warehouse.

Estacada Self Storage

Conditional Use Permit

Estacada, Oregon 2022


BRAND assisted our Client with obtaining approval of a conditional use permit required to develop their self-storage project. BRAND represented the Client in the public hearing where the Planning Commission voted to approve the application.  

Turner Road Development

Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment and Zone Change

Salem, Oregon 2022


BRAND worked with our Client to prepare and present a consolidated comprehensive plan map amendment and zone change application to the City of Salem for the former Mill Creek Correctional Facility site. This is a 390-acre property at the edge of southeast Salem abutting the urban growth boundary. With the exception of the concentrated areas which contain buildings, a vast majority of the subject property is vacant. The purpose and intention of completing this comprehensive plan amendment and zone change application is to master plan the site and prepare for future development phases.


Government Camp Hotel

Design Review

Government Camp, Oregon 2022


BRAND worked with our Client to prepare and present a consolidated design review and environmental assessment application to Clackamas County for approval of a boutique hotel with 47 rooms. The subject site included natural resources and some hazards which the design team found creative and collaborative solutions to that were acceptable to the Client. The project was appealed to the Hearings Officer which resulted in an upholding of the original approval.
